Home/Non-Surgical Procedures/Morpheus8 for Skin Tightening

Many individuals can address areas of skin showing signs of looseness and sagginess with the state-of-the-art, non-surgical skin tightening procedure called Morpheus8. This advanced treatment combines radiofrequency energy with microneedling techniques to help the skin remodel and restore itself. The method’s ability to stimulate the production of the skin’s natural elastin and collagen can ultimately result in firmer, smoother, more youthful-looking skin without the need for major surgery and long recovery periods. Our team at Pinsky Plastic Surgery can develop a customized Morpheus8 treatment plan designed to help you effectively enhance skin tone, texture, and firmness with exceptional results.

What Are the Benefits of Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 offers several benefits for individuals who would like to enhance the tone, texture, and firmness of their skin. Advantages of this treatment include:

  • Reduced signs of jowls, wrinkles, and skin folds caused by loss of elasticity
  • Improvement in signs of age spots, mild scarring, and other common concerns
  • Reduced signs of age in a wide range of body areas, including the face, neck, décolleté, and many others
  • The treatment can be effective for patients of virtually all skin types
  • Invasive surgery, general anesthesia, and long recovery times are not necessary with this treatment

Morpheus8 procedures can be excellent options on their own, or they can be combined with additional non-surgical cosmetic treatments to provide more comprehensive enhancement.

Morpheus8 may be a suitable treatment for patients who have signs of sagging skin that are a bit more severe in nature. During your initial consultation here at Pinsky Plastic Surgery, we will talk with you about your goals and help you determine the best treatment for your unique needs.

What Does the Morpheus8 Treatment Process Involve?

During the Morpheus8 procedure, a small device will be carefully guided along the skin in the area targeted for rejuvenation. Micro-pins will make tiny punctures in the tissue, which will enable the radiofrequency energy to effectively penetrate through to underlying skin layers and stimulate a restorative process that can create a firmer and healthier look. A topical anesthetic will be applied to the skin of the treatment areas to diminish any potential discomfort during the process.

Morpheus8 procedures can be completed right here at our practice. The length of treatment will depend on the number of areas being addressed and the size of those areas—15 to 60 minutes is the average treatment time. Patients can expect a mild degree of redness and swelling in the treatment areas; however, these effects are temporary and should dissipate after a few days. Some individuals may be advised to undergo a series of Morpheus8 treatment sessions to achieve optimal results.

What Can I Expect from the Results of Morpheus8?

The effects of Morpheus8 often become noticeable a few days after the initial treatment and continue to improve in the months that follow as new collagen and elastin replenish the skin. Results of Morpheus8 may last up to one year, and occasional “touch-up” treatments can help many patients maintain the outcome for longer periods.
