How Much Does Breast Augmentation Cost?

We feel this question is a bit like asking, “How much does a vacation cost?” Part of the consultation process at Pinsky Plastic Surgery is to provide you with information about our services and our cost. We are neither the highest priced, nor the lowest, but we strive to provide you with a Goldilocks experience, which is to say we hope you find our price, services, and results to be “just right.”

To give some detail, all plastic surgery procedures, including breast augmentation, are highly customized. There are few things more personal than surgically altering your body. We understand this, and tailor your surgery according to your needs, goals, body-type, budget, and recovery timeline. For that reason, the overall cost for breast enlargement surgery at our practice is based on several determining factors:

  1. Your Body – Skin, muscle, breast condition, and fat quantity and distribution, as well as your desired results (high, round, shaped, areola or nipple reshaping or replacement etc.)
  2. Implant type – Size, brand, shape, warranty, and type
  3. Implant placement – above or below the muscle, or a hybrid
  4. Incision technique
  5. Additional procedures – breast lift, areola or nipple changes, fat grafting, implant exchange, capsulectomy, etc.

In addition to the specific components and details of the surgery that make up the surgeon’s fee, you can expect the total price to include fees for anesthesia, the surgical facility, medications, garments, and after-care. Upon completing a consultation with Dr. Mark Pinsky, our office will be able to provide you with a quote for the full price of your procedure.

Although we accept medical insurance for certain treatments at our practice (Medicare, United Healthcare®, Aetna®, Cigna®, Humana®, and Blue Cross®/Blue Shield®), breast augmentations and breast lifts are generally considered elective procedures and are not covered by insurance.

We do, however, offer no-interest 6-18 month financing through CareCredit® and ALPHAEON® Credit. These programs offer financing for the cost of your breast augmentation procedure that can typically be repaid in monthly installments. Applications for CareCredit® and ALPHAEON® Credit can be filled out online and are quickly evaluated for approval. We also accept payment with the following credit cards: Mastercard®, VISA®, American Express®, and Discover®.
