Cosmetic Injectables: How Long do Results Last?

The length of time that your cosmetic injectable treatments last will depend on a variety of factors. While all manufacturers provide an approximate time range for results, your personal experience will vary based on how quickly your body resorbs the product, how much of the product is injected, and what area of the face it is treating.

• Wrinkle relaxing products BOTOX^® Cosmetic, Dysport^®, and Xeomin^® typically last between three to four months.
• Volumizing injectable products BELOTERO BALANCE^® and Restylane^® may last between six to nine months.
• Long-lasting volumizing injectables RADIESSE^®, JUVÉDERM^®, JUVÉDERM^® VOLUMA, Sculptra^®, and Restylane^® Lyft (formerly Perlane^®) can last between one to two years.

• Note: Areas of the face with the most movement are where you may experience the shortest result. Lips are a perfect example: Restylane^® in your “smile lines” will typically last longer than in your lips. Chewing, talking, sipping, and smooching all create movement and speed the reabsorption of the product.

However, creating a lovely result is not always about using the longest-lasting product, but rather the product that will give the most natural-looking results in the area being treated.
